Since you have configured the groups of buyers?, you can also configure the prices at the group level, send a screenshot of the default group and the anonymous group.
On the other hand, it is possible that the new version of virtuemart considers showing prices in detail differently, you can easily check this by changing the template to a default template, check if it appears with a default template like beez5
Can you tell us the link of what you comment on the tick (tip)?
It is also possible that it is a bug in vm 2.0.12, I assume that you have made a backup before updating virtuemart in case you need to recover your site.
