Good afternoon, about a month ago I switched from using Yoast SEO to Rank Math SEO and in general I am very happy with the change. The problem comes when I write the meta description that unfortunately is not “taking”. I would like to explain it with images, but it gives me an error when uploading them to the topic, so I will leave everything written:
1. In the plugin configuration I have put in “Individual Entry Description” that it takes the information from “%excerpt%”, that is, the extract.
In the example of this article: in the extract I have included: In this article we are going to indicate the cheap destinations in Italy to travel this summer 2020, dividing them between July, August and September.
2. When I am in the input and I open the “Snippet” button I get the text “In this article we are going to indicate the cheap destinations in Italy to travel this summer 2020, dividing them between July, August and September.” at the bottom, in description. So far everything perfect.
3. I do the search in google and it appears:
15 cheap destinations in Italy to spend the summer this year …
www.llevameaitalia.com › cheap-destinations-in-italy
3 days ago – We have considered as flights cheap towards Italy all those who do not exceed the cost of 100 euros per person for a round-trip ticket…
What it takes as a description corresponds to the third paragraph of the article.
I hope I have explained myself well and if anyone can give me a hand and have an idea of what might be going on or know of an alternative solution, I would appreciate it, because I would like to continue using this plugin.
