It’s a simple and straightforward vector illustration program, not too aspirational, and hardly known outside of the world of SVG plotting. In fact, its low price and the fact that it is only for sale on the manufacturer’s website are almost a declaration of intent.

For the rest, it may be useful for cartoonists with a simple style, fans of basic geometric shapes, or as a “closet background” in any webmaster’s system, when the graphics we require do not justify the use of large applications such as Adobe Illustrator . In fact, Mayura Draw is as light as a feather; the program launches in a couple of seconds, runs all its functions in the blink of an eye even when our computer’s resources are saturated, and closes without resistance, unlike so many others.

It has three toolbars: a standard one, which allows you to carry out the most common file, edition and screen actions; a second bar controls text formatting, stroke and fill colors as well as object rotation and index placement (front and back); and, thirdly, a panel of lines and forms next to the drawing tapestry. Mayura Draw can import and insert Illustrator files, a very useful feature if we work with an application that doesn’t have direct export to SVG. Mayura will be in charge, then, of making the conversion. It also exports to the most common graphic formats, and additionally offers the possibility of converting our work into portable Adobe documents.

Mayura Draw can be downloaded on the official website of the manufacturer and at least prove without complications what is the primary nature of the SVG standard.
