Repsol and Cepsa extend discounts: they will drop 5 cents to customers who do not use ‘apps’ or loyalty programs

Repsol and Cepsa once again increase the . Repsol customers who go to service stations from today and do not use Waylet will add a 5 cent discount to the 20 cent bonus approved by the Executive. Therefore, in these cases the total discount is 25 euro cents per litre.

The clients of the oil company who use their payment method will be able to discount up to 30 cents per liter.

For the group of transporters, Repsol also offers a minimum discount of 10 euro cents per liter to professionals who have the Solred card, to which must also be added the 20 cent bonus offered by the Government, so that the minimum discount will be 30 euro cents per litre. The offer is compatible with others that carriers and self-employed workers already receive through this card.

Likewise, carriers and professionals who do not use Solred have an additional discount of 5 euro cents per liter of fuel on the 20 cent bonus approved by the Government. Therefore, the price reduction in these cases is 25 euro cents per liter in total.

The discounts, with which Repsol goes beyond the State rebate with the aim of lowering the price of an essential good such as fuel, occur in a context of high fuel prices, caused by the increase in international prices of raw materials as a result of the war in Ukraine.

Repsol was the first operator to establish voluntary discounts for its customers, both individuals and carriers. Since the company began to apply this discount on March 16, more than a million refuelings have become cheaper for private customers alone.

The discount is compatible with other advantages that Waylet already offers its users, such as the welcome promotion to the app, for which a balance of 3 euro cents per liter of fuel accumulates during the first six months; or with the offer to contract electricity and gas with Repsol, among others.

In line with Repsol’s strategic commitment to digitization, professional clients who wish to do so have the possibility of dispensing with physical Solred cards and making payments, with this reduction of 30 cents additional to their conditions, through Waylet.
