There can be many reasons why images may not load on web pages when you use Chrome.

The first thing to check is if the problem is only with your Chrome browser or any browser. Why does this matter? Each browser uses its own browser engine to process the incoming code of the web page.
Chrome uses the Chromium engine. So the first test you should try is to use another Chromium based browser like

Another good test to try is Firefox and visiting the same web page.
