Motorhome manufacturers have experienced an extraordinary increase in sales during the pandemic, as it was seen as one of the few safe ways to travel at the time. Wingamm, an Italian manufacturer of luxury recreational vehicles, has launched one of the most impressive models on the market and already has a waiting list in the US to get hold of one of them.
This is the Oasi 540, one of the most sought after motorhomes in Europe. According to the company, the sales department receives an email or call about the vehicle every 20 minutes or so.
The camper is based on a Promaster, but has its own custom one-piece monocoque fiberglass shell.
This casing prevents leaks, improves sound insulation, and allows for a customizable floor plan.
“Thanks to the custom fiberglass monocoque shell, Wingamm is basically capable of designing any floor plan you want,” they explain from the company. The vehicle is five and a half meters long.
From Wingamm they call this motorhome an “alternative to an apartment”, given the comforts they have implemented inside the vehicle.
Despite its size, the “little house on wheels” features several key rooms, including a bedroom, bathroom, closets, and kitchen.
