The list of the best campsites in Spain on the beach

The camper tourist wants to enjoy and relax for a few days in complete safety and in direct contact with nature. That is what emerges from the data handled by the Spanish Camping Federation (FEEC) which already calculates that, since the state of alarm ended, reservations have increased by 60% for this summer.

At the moment, the weekends of the month of June are at almost 90% occupancy, the month of July, at 50%; and August, at 70%. If the current health improvement, the vaccination process and the rate of reservations continue, the association expects that the average national occupancy could exceed 75% this summer.

FEEC also explains that the occupation is being carried out mainly by national clients. However, it is expected that with the arrival of the month of July the number of foreign reservations will grow. “If we continue with the current trend of reservations, this summer we hope to reach the same occupancy level as in the summer of 2019, that is, more than 75%, which would be extraordinary news considering the lower arrival of foreign clients”, explains Ana Beriain, president of the FEEC.
