The Los Monotes 2 Employment Workshop in Teruel trains students as socio-labour facilitators

A total of 12 students have acquired training as socio-labour facilitators and office employees in this workshop that closed today with the delivery of diplomas.

The workshop, promoted by the Sociedad Municipal Urban Teruel, has trained six students in the Socio-Labor Revitalization specialization, completing the level 3 professional certificate of Community Revitalization, while the other six have done the same in the specialty of Employee of Office, completing the level 1 professional certificates of “Auxiliary operations of administrative and general services” and “Operations of recording and processing of data and documents”.

In the program, financed by INAEM and the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy, the groups have oriented their service towards improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the Arrabal, San Julián and Carrel neighborhoods through community revitalization, putting into practice the theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom through work and actions of social intervention aimed at the development of citizen participation and the articulation of community processes within the framework of specialty 1. Similarly, knowledge has focused on specialty 2 in this field with the administrative and management tasks, the elementary procedures of verification of data and documents and operations of data recording, transcription, reproduction and archiving of information and documentation.

The mayoress of Teruel, Emma Buj; the provincial director of INAEM, Patricia Utrillas; the CEO of the Urban Municipal Society, Juan Carlos Cruzado; the Councilor for Social Services, Nuria Tregón, and the Councilor for the Environment, José Luis Torán. Before the act, the director of the workshop, Luis Pina, has made an exhibition of the activities carried out.
