The Colombian actress Sofía Vergara is the new muse of one of the bag lines of the spring-summer 2020 collection of the Italian firm Dolce&Gabanna. Although it may seem unbelievable due to the result of the campaign, it is the first time that the protagonist of Modern Family is part of the universe of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
As the designers explain on social networks, the new bag campaign starring the actress “celebrates the life and beauty of Italy.” In addition, they have reported that a portion of the proceeds from the sales of this collection of bags will be donated to Humanitas University to “help their global health initiatives.”
Upon learning of this decision, the actress has reacted with a comment on Instagram explaining that “what was already such a special campaign means even more knowing that the proceeds will go to global health research. Thank you @dolcegabbana.”
In this campaign, the actress appears on a balcony full of brightly colored flowers and poses with bags from the Devotion collection. In each image, the actress wears two tight-fitting dresses with enormous flowers, one in a range of pinks and the other in lilacs. Also with one of black lace.
