The weather forecast for Easter 2022: stability as of Thursday

Almost the entire country has woken up today with rains that have occurred either during the early morning or throughout the day. And although tomorrow they will be repeated in many parts of the country, everything indicates that as of Thursday they will disappear in almost the entire territory.

Wednesday April 13

The rainfall will be persistent in the south of Valencia, north of Alicante and in the lower Ebro, as well as the Balearic Islands. The rains may be accompanied by storms, according to data from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).

Meanwhile, in Galicia and Melilla the rainfall will be weak, with a tendency to disappear. On the other hand, in the rest of the Peninsula some scattered showers are expected, more likely in mountainous areas of the eastern, central and northwest third. In the Canary Islands it will be cloudy in the north of the islands, with scattered light rains in those of greater relief.

The maximum temperatures tend to rise on the Atlantic slope and fall in the northeast and the Balearic Islands. No major changes to the rest.

Holy Thursday April 14

In the Peninsula a tendency to stability is foreseen, in general with stable weather and without precipitation. However, in the Balearic Islands, the Valencian Community and the surroundings of Murcia, an unstable situation will continue, with cloudy or covered skies and precipitation.

The precipitation may be accompanied by occasional thunderstorms in the morning. Likewise, low clouds are expected in the upper Ebro and inland Galicia and Cantabria, with some light rain in the eastern part of the area.

However, in the eastern Mediterranean area at first there will be cloudy intervals, with a small probability of isolated early-morning precipitations in the Balearic Islands and around Cabo de la Nao and Cabo de Palos.

Low clouds are expected in the Cantabrian area and north of the mountainous Canary Islands, as well as scattered clouds of evolution in the mountains in the Peninsula, without completely ruling out an occasional isolated shower.

Temperatures will rise throughout the country, the maximum markedly in the interior of the peninsula, although the minimum could drop slightly in some areas of the east and the Balearic Islands.

Holy Saturday April 16

Throughout the country, a predominance of stable weather with little cloudy skies is expected. Only low clouds are expected in the extreme north of the peninsula, high clouds in the Canary Islands, as well as scattered evolution clouds in the eastern third of the peninsula, without completely ruling out an occasional isolated shower on the Catalan coast or in the afternoon in the mountains.

Temperatures tend to rise throughout the country, although the maximum could drop slightly in the eastern Cantabrian, upper Ebro and Pyrenees. They will be at values ​​higher than normal for the date in the western half of the Peninsula, the northeast and the Canary Islands.
