This is Carrefour’s ‘Thermomix’ that competes directly with Lidl’s Monsieur Cuisine

The course 2022 has among the large supermarket chains in Spain. As with most of its products, however, the most relevant movement has come with the fashion for kitchen robots and… to such an extent that Carrefour has joined the fight.

The ruling of the Barcelona courts has favored Lidl in its judicial war with Vorwerk, the Thermomix marketer, has created a stir that many brands are now seeking to take advantage of. And it is that the authorization of the Justice to the German chain to be able to sell its Monsieur Cuisine, for understanding that it does not violate the patent of the robot par excellence, has created a serious precedent.

Not yet back on the shelves of Lidl, where it remains, the cheapest food processor on the market has already begun to find rivals beyond Vorwerk. To such an extent that Carrefour has joined this fashion for the appliance that has grown the most in recent years, albeit leaving aside white brands.

This is the reduced kitchen robot of Carrefour

Under the name of Cuisy Chef, the fashionable kitchen robot in the French chain has up to 12 functions with which it achieves practically any cooking. Through 1,200 watts of power, your glass has a capacity of 2 liters and an integrated scale to measure up to 5 kilograms.

Therefore, somewhat smaller than other kitchen robots, its price, however, at Carrefour is on sale these days to 159 euros. A reasonable cost given its multifunction and its connection with up to 150 recipes with which to surprise any cook.

Carrefour reduces its price by almost 50% compared to other establishments

For this reason, it has gained popularity in the French chain compared to other establishments where its price is around 300 euros and it has managed to attract the attention of the most avid customers, waiting to see what happens with Lidl’s Monsieur Cuisine. Even without returning to the shelves, although it does already have permission to do so, the supermarket war has moved fully to kitchen robots in an attempt to ‘imitate’ the success of Thermomix.
