This is Mercadona’s new sourdough pizza: how much does it cost, how to buy it and what flavors are there

In recent days, Mercadona has released a new product ready to conquer as many customers as possible. In what was already one of its most enhanced targets thanks to the association with Casa Tarradellas, Hacendado’s pizzas win a new article that aims to sweep through its Neapolitan style.

In recent years, supermarket pizzas have gained strength even over large food chains such as Telepizza, Domino’s Pizza or Papa Johns. Part of the blame lies with Mercadona, which, always with the support of Casa Tarradellas, has achieved a product that solves any mishap at lunch or dinner and with a top quality taste.

Some pizzas that are always the most demanded on the shelves of the Valencian chain and that from this week add a new partner, also with the Barcelona brand behind. Of course, under the logo of the Hacendado white brand, Mercadona already has its Neapolitan-style pizzas and with sourdough fermented for up to 24 hours.

Debuts with three flavors

Not yet on the web, although they will be introduced progressively in almost all the chain’s establishments. The new Juan Roig pizzas debut with three classic flavours. Margarita, Serrana and Chicken to leave the choice of the consumer with which ingredients to try the new bestseller.

How much they cost?

At a price that is not exorbitant, taking into account the average cost of a pizza in a supermarket, Mercadona has placed its product under the “novelty” label. For just 3.60 euros, the latest in food promises to reach all Spanish households looking to have an easy resource given the short cooking time (between 8 and 10 minutes in the oven).
