This is the new PcComponentes store: Unilae, for something more than technology

PcComponentes has announced the arrival of its next new e-commerce platform in Spain, Unilae, where you can find one to six ranges of products, not only electronic items but also other home and decoration, health and beauty, sports, fashion and DIY and toys.

The PcComponentes company has the largest technology ecommerce platform in our country, but in order to compete with the big market competitors, Amazon being the king of kings, it is necessary to diversify. And that is exactly what the Murcia-based company has done, it has created a new platform.

Although it is not yet operational, Unilae is going to become the new e-commerce platform for PcComponentes, and unlike its predecessor, it will include up to 5 sections of new products, covering more than just technology and consumer electronics.

This does not mean that PcComponentes abandons technology, but that its platform is going to become a much broader shopping portal, since now we are going to find the categories of: Home and decoration, Health and beauty, Sports, DIY and toys and Technology of course.

Despite these novelties, the principles from which PcComponentes were built will continue to be maintained, that is, they will continue to bet on the fact that the majority of vendors and suppliers are Spanish SMEs, which represents more or less 90%. In fact, Unilae already has 400 Spanish SMEs on its website and more than 250,000 references.

Although the company’s objectives go much further, and it plans to achieve a turnover of 100 million euros in three years. For this, Unilae wants to become an international platform, so it will begin to enter new European markets, such as Portugal, France or Germany. In addition to paying special attention to dealing with customers based on closeness and honesty, with ideas such as the return of shipping costs if the order arrives after the deadline.

Unilae intends to achieve these objectives by also following two important premises, the first is to accept its fiscal responsibility and pay the taxes corresponding to its activity in each of the countries, a practice that is almost non-existent today for this type of platform, but they have also announced that, to ensure a positive experience, they will only accept sellers from the European Union to avoid purchase, shipping and post-sale problems.

“We have always been clear that one of Unilae’s main objectives is to open in the main European markets. We know that it is an ambitious challenge, and that is why Spain will be our focus during the first year, since it will allow us to obtain the information and the necessary tools to take the next steps” says David Morales, Ecommerce Manager of Unilae.
