In this article we are going to explain how to create in the extension images Phoca Gallery ( ) which is widely used to have image galleries in Joomla!.
In the administration of Joomla! –> components –> Phoca Gallery –> Options –> Configuration for watermark (Watermark), by default it is on Nope.

We have two other options:
- Yes (Folder)the watermark is created from the images found in the category folders.
- Yes (Root)if you need to have the same watermark for all images, this is the option to select.
The watermark will be created on medium images if the image watermark-medium.png is located in the folder (Root – for all images, or in the folder – only for images in the folder) and the watermark will be created on large images, if the image watermark-large.png is located in the folder (Root – for all images, folder – only for images in the folder). This means that you can set if the watermark is created only on medium images or only on large images or both.
As an example, we have selected the Yes (Root) option, so we have uploaded two images (PNG format) in which we have created our own watermark, to the images/phocagallery folder. The names of the images must be watermark-large.png (large thumbnails) and watermark-medium.png (medium size miniatures).
