In the display of names that will appear in the alleged espionage plot of the Popular Party towards the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, Ángel Carromero occupies one of the central places. This Thursday, the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez Almeida, has affirmed that the former secretary of New Generations in Madrid, a person close to Pablo Casado’s circle and today general director of Coordination of the Mayor’s Office, has denied him that he has dedicated part of his his time to obtain information about Ayuso and about his family.
Ángel Carromero is pointed out in any of the information that addresses the alleged espionage to which Isabel Díaz Ayuso would have been subjected, for also alleged favorable treatment of a company through the mediation of the president’s brother.

Carromero has an office in Genoa, and also has another in the Madrid City Council, from which he currently receives a salary from the municipal treasury of 92,967.12 euros per year.
While in the Popular Party of Madrid, located on the first floor of 13 Genoa, he occupies the functions of deputy electoral secretary, in the consistory he acts as a trusted adviser to alderman Almeida.

Pointed out for a falsification of affiliations in a popular headquarters in the city of Madrid, eE has been able to learn from people who coincided with him at that stage, that Carromero was dedicated to moving people from one headquarters to another to fatten the lists. At one time he met ‘little Nicolás’ at a venue near the Ciudad Universitaria.
At present, he coincides in the Genoa manager in his management positions with David Pérez, Carlos Izquierdo or Borja Carabante.
Political sources consulted by the eE explain that Carromero has dedicated all this time to opening management companies throughout the Community of Madrid, favoring any current that went against the leadership of Isabel Díaz Ayuso. Other voices also point out that this person could be dedicated to calling people by phone to find any information that would harm the president of the Community of Madrid.
Almeida, Villacis
The truth is that this Thursday, Mayor Martínez Almeida has referred to him and has ruled him out of any corruption plot. Of course, he has immediately said that there is no room for any irregular conduct or that he is not exemplary in any position in the Madrid City Council.
The councilor denies that the Municipal Housing and Land Company has undertaken any action to investigate Isabel Diaz Ayuso’s brother through the Tax Agency in case he has charged any commission, and if there is verification in invoices of this.
But the mayor’s statements do not seem to have convinced the deputy mayor, Begoña Villacís, who this morning requested an extraordinary call from the Municipal Housing and Land Company, to find out in detail about the minor contracts and clarify that they have not been used public money to pay for the partisan wars of the PP.
