The extension allows to improve the security, and the administrative maintenance tasks of our website, we can download it from the Joomla extension center.

After having installed the component we will see a screen like the following.

• Joomla Update : Allows you to update the Joomla core by downloading the update patch.
• Update of the extension itself

Security

• Offline Emergency : Disables the website, making it accessible only from the administrator’s IP, Use this option with caution if you have a dynamic IP.
• Master Password : It allows to give security to the different options of the extension through a password.
• Access control : Allows you to give access to certain users in certain parts of the extension.
• Password Protection Manager : Define an additional password to the administration section of our website.
• Table Prefix Editor : Change the Joomla table prefix “jos” to a random prefix
• Super admin ID : Change the administrator Id in the user table that Joomla places by default.

• Permission Settings : Allows you to configure permissions at the folder and file level, by default for 755 folders and 644 files
• Repair Permissions : Allows you to change the permissions to the default permissions of Joomla files
