Ángel Gabilondo, admitted urgently for a heart problem

The PSOE candidate for the Presidency of the Community of Madrid in last Tuesday’s elections, Ángel Gabilondo, has been urgently admitted to the Ramón y Cajal Hospital for a heart condition.

According to sources explained to Servimedia, the 72-year-old socialist candidate is doing well. After admission, he underwent some tests and the result was satisfactory.

Sources from the PSOE in Madrid point out that these types of ailments, “even if they are mild, require observation” at their age, and ask for “prudence”.

Gabilondo suffers from this ailment the same day that the general secretary of the PSOE-M, José Manuel Franco, has left his post after the bad guys.

Regarding his state of health, he has stated that “he is well, he is doing very well, he is resting”. After wishing him a speedy recovery, he stressed that despite the “hard” 4M campaign where they got “very angry”, Ángel Gabilondo is “a great person” who “has done a great job within the discrepancies”.
