Carromero resigns for the alleged espionage plot against Ayuso

Ángel Carromero, general coordinator of the Mayor’s Office in the Madrid City Council, resigned this afternoon “immediately” after numerous voices pointed out to him, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.

The decision was made “after having a conversation with the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez Almeida,” according to the Madrid City Council.

In statements in the morning, Almeida ruled him out of any corruption plot. However, it also warned that “there is no room for any irregular conduct or that is not exemplary in any position of the Madrid City Council” and that in the event that an indication appears that a position in Cibeles had carried out a procedure to obtain this information, “He will be immediately dismissed from this City Council.”

His career in the game

During his political career, the former secretary of New Generations – and a person close to Pablo Casado’s circle – was accused of falsifying affiliations at a popular headquarters in the city of Madrid. In this sense, eE has been able to learn from people who agreed with him at that stage, that Carromero was dedicated to moving people from one venue to another to fatten the lists. At one time he met ‘little Nicolás’ at a venue near the Ciudad Universitaria.

Likewise, political sources consulted by eE explain that Carromero has dedicated all this time to opening management companies throughout the Community of Madrid, favoring any current that went against the leadership of Díaz Ayuso.

Other voices also point out that this person could be dedicated to calling people by phone to find any information that would harm the president of the Community.
