In the fifth class of the Discord Course we are going to create our own Discord server, the epicenter of the operation of this communication application.
So far we have explored various communities and have understood how they work. It is time to create our own server.
Whatever our goal, we will create a server that will be the great testing ground to test all the features and tools that we will learn about during this course. Let’s start!
In this class we have learned how to create and configure a Discord server. Now we will have an ideal testing ground to learn how it works without bothering anyone.
We can use them as a meeting place for us and our friends. Or to bring our work group together, or to create a community of our favorite hobby and invite like-minded people.
We have seen that we can create as many servers as we want, and that this is the first step to create our own community or meeting place for friends or colleagues.
As homework, I recommend you to play without fear with our server. Create channels, category hierarchy. Start shaping your ideal server and prepare for what is to come.
