The Eco10 was born on June 16, 2006 with the firm purpose of democratizing investment in the Spanish market.
The idea was as simple as it was pretentious: to allow private investors each quarter to access the selection of securities recommended by the largest consensus of analysts in the Spanish market.
The objective: to demonstrate that the recommendations of the professionals are capable of systematically beating the market and to demystify the old story that a monkey making a stock portfolio by throwing darts at the pages of the Wall Street Journal has more successes with its portfolio strategy.
The result: Eco10 leads the Ibex 35 by more than forty points of profitability in its fourteen years of life.
