Evicted El Corte Inglés de Serrano in Madrid after a fire broke out on the roof

El Corte Inglés located at number 52 Calle Serrano in the capital has been evicted after declaring a spectacular fire on the roof that has caused an immense column of smoke, a spokesman for Madrid Emergencies has informed Europa Press.

Several fire departments from the Madrid City Council and several units of the Samur-Civil Protection have moved to the area, which has deployed a preventive team in the place.

Apparently, the origin of the flames would be in a failure in the refrigeration system. The building located on Calle Serrano on the corner with Calle Ayala has been evicted and there are no injuries.

Firefighters are currently working to extinguish the flames.

The fire at El Corte Inglés is nothing more than a scare.
