The cement manufacturing companies that bill the most

The 89 companies included in the ‘Cement Manufacture’ sector registered a turnover of almost 1,650 million euros in 2017, according to the Ranking of Companies prepared by , brand of , (CESCE subsidiary), leader in the provision of Commercial, Financial Information , Sectorial and Marketing, published by elEconomista. The first ten concentrate 84% of sales, with more than 1,370 million euros.

It does not move from first place, with a turnover of 323 million euros in 2017, an increase of 1% compared to 2016. Its 1,056 employees, 91% permanent, exceed the 1,026 last year. Among the ten companies with the highest turnover in the ‘Cement Manufacture’ sector, all have more than 90% of their permanent jobs. Four of them reach 100%: in addition to the second ranked, Lafargeholcim España SA, Sociedad Financiera y Minera SA, Cementos Especiales de las Islas SA and Cementos Alfa SA also do so.
