Figma Initiation Course to learn how to design, share and collaborate in the design of applications, websites and other digital resources.

Figma is a vector design and prototyping tool. It can be used for free from the browser or from its desktop application, both on Mac and Windows: it is cross-platform.

Throughout ten classes, we will learn how with Figma we can design and share our application and web designs, as well as images for social networks, presentations and other digital resources, since in addition to seeing how to share prototypes, we will learn to export the designs to multiple formats.

We will learn that with Auto Layout we can create automatic layouts, we will discover that with Constraints we can easily indicate how a layout will behave in different formats (ideal for responsive design) and we will see that with Layout Grid we can create grids to structure the content and provide flexibility to our designs.

We will review all the features of Figma, which are very focused on the design of user interfaces and user experience, with an emphasis on real-time collaboration.

We will know the main advantages of this tool. The best thing about Figma is that you can work collaboratively, like Google Docs, for example: several people can work on the same file at the same time, in the cloud.

In addition, we will learn how designers on the same team can share components and styles in the same “source of truth”: we will see how we can create and share a design system so that it is available in our archives, which will give consistency and coherence to our designs, improving our productivity and the quality of the result.

Finally, we will get to know the Figma Community: plugins, files, support forums and resources available for free, which will help us get the most out of this tool.
