There are plenty of sites that offer hundreds or thousands of free fonts, both for Windows and MAC.
I think the most famous and the one that offers the most useful service is . I use it whenever I need to find a free font to use on a website.
In addition, Google Fonts has a font CDN service, so that you can load them using Google’s own servers, which will always be somewhat faster than downloading or transferring your own site, since CDNs are usually optimized.
I have occasionally used other font sites, but in the end they generally mix free and paid fonts and it is more difficult to find what you are looking for.
