Only a few can afford the luxury of a private island. Living in a paradise away from noise and surrounded by water usually exceeds seven figures, although there are also properties -the least- that do not reach a million euros. One of the latest islands to come onto the market is Isola Lunga (also known as Isola Grande). It is located in Marsala, a municipality located on the western coast of Sicily (Italy). Its price is 10 million euros.
The island has an area of 120 hectares and a length of 10 km, although the part for sale is 88 hectares and includes some properties in ruins that can be restored, explains idealista and collects Sotheby’s, the trading firm.
The island is known for the presence of the famous regenerating salt flats and for the “wellness trails”, which are one of the most fascinating experiences that can be enjoyed in the area.
