The organization explains that the most common and commonly accepted certificate is the one issued by the National Currency and Stamp Factory (FNMT), which can be obtained through four steps:
First, an application code must be obtained. This is achieved by entering the FNMT website, in the Certificates section, in Natural Persons and, within this area, in Obtain Software Certificate. You must read the previous considerations and the browser settings in order to avoid problems when downloading the certificate in the final phase of the process. When it is done, click on Online Request for your Certificate, fill in the form and send it. The system will respond with an email to your address that will contain the request code.
The second step is to register this request in a Registry Office or also called Accreditation. The FNMT website has a Map of Registry Offices on the route Digital Certificates > Certificates issued by Social Security > Digital Certificate Registry Offices. Some of these offices require an appointment in advance. In any case, choose the one you want to go there, prove your identity and register the request. , depending on our situation, to execute this procedure.
With the application already registered, the third and next step is to download your certificate. Approximately one hour after registering your application, you will be able to do it using your application code, but always from the same computer and with the same user with which it was processed at the beginning. This will be done in the Internet Application section of your Certificate, where you will have to click on Download your Certificate User. After filling in the relevant data, you will download the certificate in your browser, where it will be saved.
