A relatively common image from years ago is that of our parents, after checking the mailbox, commenting on the arrival of the letter with the working life in which Social Security communicated the days quoted to date.
Despite the obvious rise in online procedures and the increasing agility of telematic media, Social Security maintains the possibility of resuming this old practice of achieving work life at home. This is an alternative for people who do not have means such as the digital certificate () or Cl@ve () to carry out certain procedures.

The citizen interested in having a working life at home will have to fill in the information requested by Social Security. This is: name and first surname (the second is optional), DNI or NIE and date of birth. The provision of an email address is also required.
As it could not be otherwise, the citizen must provide their contact address to which to send the document. But, important: Social Security requires that the address provided matches the one that appears in its database. Otherwise, you will be forced to notify the agency.
How to give our address to Social Security
The mechanism is very similar to the one that must be put in place when registering the telephone number with the Social Security, since the TA.1 model must be completed, which expresses the changes in the contact data of the citizen and that can be obtained by clicking .
In the model, all the fields referring to personal and contact data must be filled in, in addition to indicating the reason for the communication, which in this case will be ‘Data variation’. In the cause it must be indicated that it is the introduction of a new address of our home and later the new address must be given in detail: type of road, name, number, floor, town, province, zip code…
When all the information is complete, the TA.1 form must be downloaded to our computer and saved for later sending to Social Security. This will be done through the ‘Submit a request’ service, within Import@ss. , the interested party must attach the model and indicate their DNI or NIE (and expiration date) and an email address.
In addition, the procedure must be carried out from a device with a camera, since the citizen is asked to take a ‘selfie’ showing the front face of the DNI itself to prove the identity of the citizen.
