How to upload music to Google Play Music |

Use Google Chrome, the easiest way to upload music to Google Play Music

Once you’ve launched Chrome, follow these steps to upload music to Google Play Music:

1. Install the Google Play Music app

First of all, if you have more than one Google account, Make sure you run Chrome while logged in to the one you want to use for Play Music.

You can install the application by clicking on the blue “Add to Chrome” button.

2. Open the Google Play Music app in Chrome

The app will appear inside Chrome as soon as you install it. If you close that tab, keep in mind that you can always access Chrome applications by putting this in the browser’s address bar:

Upon opening it, you are greeted and given the opportunity to subscribe to the paid service. If you do not have a credit card set up with Google, it will tell you to add one although you will not be charged anything.

Once done, the Google Play Music home screen will appear.

3. Open the options menu and choose “Upload music”

You have it at the top left, in the icon of three horizontal lines. When unfolding, as you can see in the image, the “Upload music” option appears below the button. Click on it.

4. Drag the songs you want to upload, or choose files from your computer

As you see in the image above, a screen will appear to drag the mp3s you have on your computer. You can also click on “Select from your computer” to access the typical screen where you search your music folders and choose song files. Easy right?

With it, instead of using Chrome, you use the program to listen to and upload music, in an almost identical way to the browser application.
