iCloud for business course #3: Mail – .com

In the third class of the iCloud for business course we are going to see how to use mail in its Trinidad version: Web, Mac and iOS. It has no waste.

3.1 – Mail on the web

Let’s start with the most “iCloud” version that can exist: The web. What can we do through a browser? What settings can we only see here? In which cases will it be more than useful for our business? Let’s go there!

So, we already know how to get the most out of the web version of the mail, and what things we should take into account if we share our account

Thanks to this method we can have several accounts, in this personal and professional case, under the same email manager. Much more efficient than having to log in and out account by account, in the same way that we can use MailDrop to avoid taking up email space with attachments.

Well, now that we have controlled the web, the configuration and its rules, we are going for the two realities of the trinity: Mac and iOS.

3.2 – Mail on Mac

Now we will see what configurations, uses, compatibilities and functionalities Mail offers us on the Mac. We will see how it differs from the web version, how to manage multiple accounts, and what we can find that is not in the other two versions.

Special attention to the linked signatures, which will allow us to have the same signature synchronized, and in the hierarchy of rules: Remember that those that are established at the server level through iCloud go before, and those that we define here are applied after.

At the business level, the functionality of “VIP” emails and color coding and labeling is also very interesting, which we also share in all our teams.

3.3 – Mail on iOS

And we end the trio with the youngest of the family: iOS. Let’s see what we can and can’t do with iOS on our mobile devices, and how it syncs up with the other two interfaces.

And with this we finish this tour of the Mail application. Special interest in mail management through movements and displacements, which make this application a small machine for sorting and organizing incoming mail.

Obviously, we can also answer and write emails, but we see that it is in inferior conditions compared to its other two alternatives.

In any case, that’s the end of today’s class. If you have any problem configuring, sharing or synchronizing email accounts, do not hesitate to send us one through and we will solve it for you 🙂

See you in the next class, in which we will see a key iCloud tool for the productivity of our business. Don’t miss it!
