In which countries does Amazon sell (and to which does it not ship its products) – Marketing 4 Ecommerce – Your online marketing magazine for e-commerce

Although it is hard to believe, yes, there are countries for which Amazon does not exist. In this post we are going to tell in which countries Amazon sells and therefore we can be calm, and in which we can start to get nervous.

Countries in which Amazon sells and has its own store

First, let’s take a tour of the websites that amazon has, corresponding to these countries, where we have our own Amazon store. The latest additions to this list were Sweden, and Egypt (2021):

    • Germany: amazon.de
    • Australia: amazon.com.au
    • : amazon.com.br
    • Canada: amazon.ca
    • China: amazon.cn
    • Egypt: amazon.eg
    • Arab Emirates: amazon.ae
    • Spain: amazon.es
    • USA: amazon.com
    • : amazon.fr
    • Holland: amazon.nl
    • India: amazon.in
    • Italy: amazon.it
    • Japan: amazon.jp
    • Mexico: amazon.com.mx
    • Poland: Amazon.pl
    • : amazon.co.uk
    • Sweden: Amazon.se
    • Singapore: amazon.sg
    • Turkey: amazon.com.tr

All these websites represent a great opportunity if we have a business. They allow us to expand into areas that would possibly be unthinkable otherwise. Although it should be noted that currently in China and India, they do not allow sellers who do not reside in those countries.

Countries to which Amazon does NOT ship products

Yes, as difficult as it may seem, now that we are used to buying from this e-commerce giant, there are . These countries have sanctions and/or embargoes by the United States Government, economic blockades imposed for several years for reasons ranging from violating and failing to comply with human rights, to being accused of promoting terrorism. These countries are:

  • North Korea
  • Cuba
  • Iran
  • Iraq
  • Syria
  • North Sudan
  • South Sudan

To these countries, Amazon does not ship, but they are not the only countries with which we could have problems. As we anticipated before, there are countries for which we can find Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Australia, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Bosnia Herzegovina, Brunei, Bhutan, China, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, India, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya , Malaysia, Morocco, Myanmar (Burma), Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Singapore, Tunisia and Turkey.
