Trump leaves the White House four hours before Biden’s inauguration to travel to Florida
The outgoing president of the United States, Donald Trump, leaves the White House this Wednesday four hours before the inauguration of Joe Biden as the country’s new president to move to the state of Florida, according to an invitation sent for his farewell ceremony at the Base of Andrews Air Force.
Unlike other inaugurations, Trump had already announced that he would not attend his successor’s and does not plan to hold any meetings with him either, after repeatedly denouncing fraud as a result of his defeat, without presenting evidence.
Despite this, the outgoing president assured on Tuesday in a video that he “prays” that the Biden Executive has “success” to “keep the United States safe and prosperous”, while rejecting the attack on the Capitol carried out by dozens of his supporters on January 6.
