In the following video I show you in detail and in simple language how install PrestaShop in the Main Domain of the Hosting using a Pack of .

    Uninstalling PrestaShop

For whatever reason you may need uninstall PrestaShopgood because you want to have the installations in separate folders that hang from the main folder /public_html or simply because you are going to change the CMS, there are issues that you must observe in order to correctly eliminate an installation.

The usual thing is to delete the files and folders of the main installation manually and then delete the database, but the truth is that this is not always done correctly and it is very common to see abandoned installations because it is not clear how eliminate them or leave remains of files or databases because they do not know that they belong to a certain website.

Note If you have other installations in your Hosting in folders that hang from /public_html and PS 1.6.x you installed it in /public_html be careful! when selecting files and folders to delete do not go to select the folder of another installation. 😉

    Conclusions

As you have been able to see in this guide, install and uninstall PrestaShop in your Hosting, using the Main Domain, it is easy and quick to carry out, it is a matter of choosing the appropriate installer and following the 3 or 4 steps required and then enjoying a website ready to start registering your products and selling.

In recent months there has been a lot of talk about whether or not it is recommended to use PrestaShop 1.7.x to set up an online store and that it works normally without problems, incompatibilities or bugs by the way.

The recommendation made by PrestaShop.com is that for stores that want to work in a stable way, they do so under PrestaShop 1.6.1.17 (current version) and not with PrestaShop 1.7.x as they will continue to support 1.6.x until October 2018.

As you can see, installing WordPress under the main domain of your Hosting, or using the temporary url if your domain still does not point the DNS to the contracted Hosting, is a very simple process that can be done from your WePanel.
