What are Amazon Prime Video profiles and how many can be created from the same account?
Amazon Prime Video allows you to create and manage up to 6 profiles from the same Amazon account. The main advantage that these profiles offer us is that it gives us the possibility of customizing our feed of series and movies. In addition, it is saved by the season and chapter where we left each series, it creates a list with our series already seen and another with the recommendations that we are signing up for.
How to create a new profile?
- Log in into your account from Amazon Prime Video
- Click on it your profile icon (up to the right)
- Select the option ‘Edit profiles’
- Click on ‘Add profile’
- Modify the name of your profile to your liking. Blue, red, purple, orange… Let everyone choose their color!
If you have reached the limit of profiles, you will have to delete some before you can create another. Do it from ‘Edit profiles’ > ‘Edit profile’ > Click on the profile you want to delete > ‘Delete profile’ > ‘Confirm’.

How to change profile images once created?
Error 404. Oh oh: we are sorry to tell you that Amazon Prime Video does not allow you to modify your profile image. On other platforms like Netflix you can choose to be a panda, a chicken or a ninja but not here yet.
You will have to settle for the color you are given. But be careful! If when creating the profile you indicate that it is going to be childish, they assign you a more exciting avatar: a little star, an emoji with a face, a triangle with eyes, etc. Of course: in that case they will only recommend you and children’s content will appear.
