Learn how to use Google Data Dialer –

With Google’s new structured data bookmarking tool, you can manually bookmark your website’s structured data without the need to edit code.

What is structured data?

Basically through markup, we can mark if our page deals with things as different as news, movies, events, lists…

What benefit do we get with this?

The main benefit you get is Google’s rich snippets. Rich snippets or enriched fragments are a convention of Google, Yahoo and Bing so that prominent information can be displayed in search results. Some examples of rich snippets, for example through cooking recipe markup, our page might get this look in search results.

Be careful, having your data marked correctly does not mean that Google will always publish it with the rich snippet, this depends on various factors such as the authority of the site.

How do I use the structured data tool?

It’s very easy, you just have to:

two) Click start marking.

3) Enter the URL where you want to start the markup and the type of information you are going to highlight.

Here it is important to note that although Schema allows for a wide variety of markup, only these are available through this tool: Software applications, news articles, local businesses, TV episodes, events, movies, products, book and restaurant reviews .

They also give you the option to bookmark just that page (a single URL) or similar ones as well.

4) Start the markup: A preview of your page will appear and, depending on the type of markup you have chosen, a menu on the right. All you have to do is select the text that corresponds to each field. That is, if I have said that my page is about a TV episode, select the name of the episode in my URL. Once you have selected all the data that you can show, click on publish.
