Metyis, the new YGroup brand

The Dutch consulting company YGroup has changed its name and is now called Metyis. His new brand is inspired by one of the most important Titanesses of the Greek theogony; daughter of Oceano, she was the first partner of Zeus and represents wisdom and good advice, essential values for all business advisors.

Its promoters explain that Metyis combines analytical capabilities with a strategic vision to give rise to a new way of consulting, committed to creating value for its clients. An example of this, they point out, is its new logo, an M with unequal arms that represents the growth in value achieved by the clients of this firm with its services and its new claim ‘Partners for impact’.

Metyis was born in the Netherlands nine years ago and now has 14 offices in 9 countries, with Spain being the second most relevant country for this company. José Antonio Bueno is the partner responsible for Metyis in Spain and has been appointed Global partner and member of the World Management Committee. It so happens that he is the only partner outside the Netherlands who takes on this responsibility. Metyis Spain has been incorporating partners and different groups of professionals, including Solchaga & Recio at the end of 2019.

The company employs more than 500 consultants around the world, dedicating itself to strategic consulting and its implementation, digital transformation, e-commerce, human resources and the Internet of things, developing joint ventures with some strategic clients for the exploitation of new businesses or activities.

Market sources assure that Metyis’s position is between the great strategic consultants such as BCG and Bain and the “big four”, such as Deloitte and EY; and they add that the Spanish subsidiary is registering double-digit growth and entering different Ibex-35 projects.
