Hello, I need information about a module or way to update the virtual store automatically. I work with Prestashop 1.6.1.0 and so far what I do to import the products is to empty the corresponding tables from the database (since the product IDs are generated automatically because not all of them have an EAN or SKU code to identify them), download 4 CSV files and 1 XML from different providers, process each file with macros in Excel, and then import them one by one into Prestashop. So that the server doesn’t crash, I use a module that optimizes the import (but it’s not enough, and the process takes about 4 hours… So I do it every 15 days but the store is not fully updated in that time.
Total, I would need a way to do it automatically, that the CSV or XML files are taken from the indicated url, and the module calculates the profit margin, puts the fields that I want to enter, and places the products in the appropriate category. Also, have him do it every morning and update/add/remove products from the database and images from the FTP server as needed.
I ask too much? Is there something like that? I have read that this is called Webservice, right?
