Among the great attractions of the Pestana CR7 Rooftop Bar offer are its cocktails and mocktails prepared at the moment by Davide Fiorenza, Pestana CR7 mixologist. David Rodríguez, Food & Beverage Manager of Pestana CR7 and Pestana Plaza Mayor, has designed together with his team a new menu with which David and his team intend to ‘find a contrast of sensations: on the one hand, with fresh, floral, sweet cocktails , soft and elegant that make you think of summer. On the other, with traditional creations, with smoky, spicy touches and intense flavors’, explains David Rodríguez.
Another idea for this summer on Floor 9 of Pestana CR7 is to change the default idea of taking shots, creating a menu with signature shots, both in liquid and jelly format, where you can enjoy a good shot of a bite. The aim is thus to promote the culture of the shot that is so common in other places such as London or Barcelona.
Of course, this new menu will include Ballon D’or, its most famous cocktail inspired by the figure of Cristiano Ronaldo, made with vodka, vanilla syrup, passion fruit, passion fruit juice, lime and egg white. This creation simulates a ballon d’or and can be enjoyed on all Pestana CR7s. ‘We want to surprise the customer and have them live a total experience with our traditional cocktails, but in which we apply avant-garde techniques’. This is the first hotel of the Pestana CR7 Lifestyle Hotels flagship, a partnership between the Pestana Hotel Group, led by Dionisio Pestana and Cristiano Ronaldo, outside of Portugal after the success achieved in its hotels in Lisbon and Funchal. Located in a building from the 1920s, which has undergone a complete rehabilitation to provide it with all the comforts and a contemporary style reminiscent of Madrid’s golden age. It has 168 rooms.
