The rapprochement of the latter two marked the end of the relationship that Patricia and Álvaro had had for three years.

A year has passed since that and the Valencian has more than overcome that separation. So much so that she confesses that it is the best thing she has ever done in her life. Now her life has taken another path and in it she has found Nicolás Vallejo-Nágera “Colate”. It seems that they have taken another step in their friendship and both are smiling when asked about the other.

– Is your goal to do better than your ex Álvaro Muñoz Escassi, a participant in the first edition of “Look who jumps”?

-No, because he is a sporty man. Besides, I’m not spiteful at all, in fact during the contest he could have had some bad memories and not at all. I have enjoyed myself as a little girl and I have not done it for revenge at all.

-During the contest we will see the visit of some former contestants. Are you going to have a bitter reunion with Álvaro or Sonia Ferrer?

-No, thanks to God. They are not among the contestants of the previous edition who have visited us. That day everything got to me because they had not told us anything, it was a surprise for everyone. They were entering one by one and I wanted to run away. I was terrified that Álvaro would come in because it was going to be an uncomfortable situation for both of them, when I saw that it wasn’t them I began to relax.

-Is there going to be love in this new edition?

-There is everything, you will see it.

-Have you already found him outside with Colate?

-I am delighted with life. I can’t confirm anything, I can say that we are very close friends.

-He has said that there is something more between you…

-There is something very nice but it is a friendship, also for a long time.

-Now he can teach you to dance and you can teach him to jump…

-Now you are going to see how I dance in the choreographies.

-What has Colate told you about this new adventure?

-He hasn’t told me anything. It has coincided that he was in a program and I was in another, so we have not talked much about this either but we are good friends.

-In the first edition you had a very bad time, now you have your head on something else?

-My head has been elsewhere for a long time, when I ended the relationship with Álvaro because it was like a liberation. It’s all over and today I’m delighted with life. Separating from Álvaro is the best thing that has happened to me in my life.

Are you completely over it?

-One hundred by one hundred. Now I am calm and delighted and regarding Colate we are just friends.

-What has been the most difficult part of the contest?

-Since I was little I have been terrified of heights. I lived in a seventh and when I looked out on the terrace I leaned against the wall because I was not able to look down. Little by little and thanks to the teachers we’ve had who have been amazing, I got it. If it hadn’t been for them I wouldn’t have managed to throw myself from three meters. You have to delegate to a professional who is advising you, I have been very obedient and a very good student, I always have been.

-How was living with your colleagues?

In general, I have gotten along very well with everyone. It is clear that you always have more affinity with some contestants or with others but I have not had any run-ins. I’m not very argumentative, I don’t like confrontations because I have a hard time, when someone argued it made me very uncomfortable.

-Who have you gotten along with the most?

-With almost everyone very well. I get along great with Aaron, Leo, Miriam, Benji, in general with everyone.

Have you exceeded your limits?

-I started very weak and I thought they were going to eliminate me from the first because also in the first gala I was very scared. Hitting myself scared me a lot, in fact once I hit my face and it was horrible, I had a terrible time. Since he was afraid of hitting me in the face, he continually hit me in the same place.

-Have you had any injuries?

-Major injury, thank God no, but I have had many contractures and I have gone through a lot with the physiotherapist. The higher the jump, the bigger the impact and you’d be smashed. The first few days when it hit me in the face I got a horrible black eye.

-What has been harder, the physical or the psychological?

-In general I was much more afraid of hurting myself. At first it scares you but you see your classmates doing it and you say why am I not going to do it. But later when you go up, things change, there were days when I had to jump and hide behind the walls because I didn’t want to jump, it scared me a lot. Psychologically, at the beginning I was also afraid because it was an experience and even more afraid after what happened to me, you never know.

How did you overcome that fear?

-Little by little, trusting the teachers and what they tell you. When you get up there and think about it, you don’t jump, it’s better not to think about it and pay attention to what they tell you.
