I have the option enabled by default. Capture attached.
Says the following:
When this feature is enabled, your customers will enjoy an enhanced checkout experience. This feature is available for Buy Now, Donations, and Shopping Cart buttons, but not for Subscriptions.
If I click on the more information button, it tells me:
Customers can pay as guest users without PayPal account
If the “account optional” feature is enabled, customers are not required to have a PayPal account to complete a purchase. They use another type of payment and later have the option of registering a PayPal account. Customers with PayPal accounts still need to sign in to those accounts to pay. This feature is available on Buy Now buttons, Donations, and shopping carts. Please note that if the “auto-return” and “optional account” features are enabled, customers who are not logged into PayPal will still be able to return to your website after making a payment, but they will not be able to do so automatically.
In short, we are in the same situation, in my case I am using subscriptions, there has to be some way to remove that button, I understand. I don’t want that if someone subscribes through Paypal, they have to create an account in case they don’t have one, only that they have to log in.
