Why does the price of electricity vary so much?

This constant increase in prices, as well as their variation, is due to the increase in the cost of gas in international markets, which is used in combined cycle plants. As these are the most expensive, they are the ones that generally mark the price at most hours.

As a direct consequence of the conflict with a supplier Russia, the price has risen in the last few hours, which affects the pocket of consumers on the electricity bill.
