I am writing to you because I have a problem with Vimeo embedded videos on two of my pages. These are:
In both cases it happens that in Vimeo I do not receive statistical data of views of the videos. After consulting with them, they tell me that there is a parameter in WordPress that prevents the collection of visit data. I copy your answer:
“It appears that the video embedded on your web page has the ?dnt=1 parameter enabled. The DNT parameter will prevent all tracking in our player, which includes the recording of statistics (plays, auctions, etc).
If you didn’t add the DNT parameter to your embed code, note that WordPress can add the DNT parameter to Vimeo on your behalf. Which means that if someone pastes a Vimeo video to generate an embed on your WordPress site, the DNT parameter will be applied automatically. Both WordPress installations were installed with the Wecompany installer from cPanel and have DIVI as template and builder.
How could I solve this issue? Is it something that is enabled by default in the WP installations in ? For taking it into account in the rest of the websites that I manage in your hosting.
