The Clarion template is not responsive, that is, it does not adapt its contents to mobile devices. I have carried out tests with a mobile phone and, indeed, I see that the drop-down menu does not work. It seems that this template does not work correctly with mobile devices.
You should consider changing the template of your website for one that does have a responsive function, since more and more connections are made from mobile phones and tablets and it is important that your website works well on this type of device. The vast majority of the new templates that are published for Joomla have a responsive type of operation.
If you do not want to change the template, you could use a Joomla extension that loads a special template when the web is loaded from a mobile, a template that will adapt to this type of device.
