Soltec reduces its semi-annual losses by 49%, up to 10 million, and maintains objectives for this year

Soltec Power Holdings reduced its losses by 49% in the first half of this year, up to 10 million euros, while reaching revenues of 244.4 million euros, which is almost triple those achieved a year earlier.

The firm achieved this income mainly derived from the supply of solar trackers, as well as other construction services, as reported to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

Specifically, Soltec closed the second quarter of the year with revenues of 146.7 million euros, which represents an increase of 150% compared to the same period of the previous year and a net result of 5.5 million euros, compared to the ‘red numbers’ of 15.5 million euros from the previous quarter.

In this way, the company concludes the quarter with “good results”, boosted by the measures adopted by the firm to mitigate the impact of current global disruptions.

Likewise, it maintains its ‘guidance’ for the end of the 2022 financial year, which it expects to close with a consolidated gross operating result (Ebitda) for the firm of between 15 and 20 million euros.
