Hello.
I’m trying to speed up my site in Joomla 2.5 and I’m stuck.
In Google’s PageSpeed Insights I’m always around 83/100, which I think is a good figure. It only gives me two messages to review, the javascript files, which if I compress them, the k2 pop up stops working, and the server response, which usually takes between 0.92 and 1.6 seconds, which I don’t think either That’s wrong.
In Gmetrix I have the Page Speed Grade at 93%(A) and the YSlow Grade at 83%(B), here it tells me to specify the size of the images and use defer for the javascript.
I have tried to put in the latest_item file of k2 the size of the images through html, but it does not recognize it.
Do you have any ideas to solve the loading of the js and put the size of the images in k2?
