Celso Santebañes has died at the age of 20 just five months after being diagnosed with cancer.
Santebañes became very popular on social media for his obsession with physically resembling Ken, the Barbie doll’s boyfriend.
The young man spent more than 35,000 euros on aesthetic operations aimed at making him more like his rubber idol, but this obsession ended up killing him. The cancer apparently occurred as a result of gel fillers that had been injected into the legs.
The ‘human Ken’, as he was known on the internet, frequently posted photos showing how his appearance was becoming more and more similar to that of Barbie’s boyfriend.
