How to create and edit reminders in Google Calendar

The Google Calendar calendar is not a simple system that collects the date we are on, but is one more tool of all that Google offers to make life easier. Today we are going to teach you how to create and edit reminders in it so that you can set and remember the events and appointments you have in the future.

This calendar works as such but also as an agenda in which you can schedule meetings, set appointments and receive reminders with the advantage that, being a Google function, you can synchronize your events with other people to stay connected. Although today we will not focus on that, but we are going to teach you how to create, search, edit and delete a reminder in the Google calendar.

How to create a reminder

The first thing we have to do is go to the Google Calendar application, and look for the “Create” option in the upper left. The first thing will be to establish that it is a reminder and not an event or a task, although this is really not that important because they all work the same.

Then we will have to establish a title for our reminder, in addition to the date and time that we want it to notify us. Next, you can set if you want the reminder to last throughout the day and you can also set a period for it to repeat, for example, every day, every week, yearly or whatever period you want as you can customize it. Once you save it, it will already be fixed.

How to find and edit a reminder

In the event that you already have a reminder, but for whatever reason you want to change something about it, Google also allows you to do so. You just have to go to the date on which you had established said reminder and click on it.

The next thing will be to adjust the new reminder with the new details, remember that you can change all the aspects that you could change when you created it.

How to remove a reminder

And to finish, there are different reasons why you want to remove a reminder, the first being because it has already been completed. This really does not make much sense, because if you have already done the task or attended the appointment you had, you do not need to tell Google that you have already done it, you can still do it, you just have to go to the reminder and mark it as completed .

Another situation may be that you want to delete the reminder, you just have to go to the reminder itself, click on it and choose the Delete reminder option or if what we want is to hide it, we will have to go to My Calendars and uncheck Reminders.
