Paz’s resignation comes after the publication of his speech in 2016 in an act organized by the Falange in which he attributed the murders of Jews in Europe to the “chaotic state, the lack of food and the spread of typhus” in the camps. of concentration.

His statements provoked this past Wednesday the reaction of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Spain, the institution that officially represents Spanish Jews, which expressed its “concern” at Vox’s decision to present Paz as number one on the list for Albacete. .
