The first Aston Martin Valkyrie for the road, about to come out of the oven

The first Aston Martin customers will receive their car very soon. The British luxury car manufacturer has just announced that the highly anticipated Valkyrie has entered full production and that the first customer-built model is now complete.

According to Tobias Moers, Aston Martin CEO, “It is a moment of immense pride for us to complete our first super car. The manufacture of the Aston Martin Valkyrie has put everyone who has worked on it to the test in order to produce a truly authentic car. Incredible, an F1® car for the road. Aston Martin Valkyrie is born from the steadfast dedication of a large group of highly-skilled engineers and technicians who have worked tirelessly to bring Aston Martin Valkyrie into production. I am sure our customers will They will be very satisfied.”

Like all of the brand’s sports cars, Aston Martin Valkyrie is built at the company’s Gaydon headquarters in the United Kingdom. A dedicated project delivery team manages from production to final delivery in an area designed specifically for the Aston Martin Valkyrie. Each of the 150 units is being built by hand, a task that takes more than 2,000 man hours per model.

Prior to delivery of each car, the vehicles are tested at Aston Martin’s flagship high-performance facility at Silverstone, where much of the model’s development has taken place.

Powered by a V12 hybrid engine, with a maximum output of 1,155PS, Aston Martin Valkyrie incorporates concepts and technologies taken directly from Formula 1 and is destined to be the supercar that will usher in a new era.
