The first Rimac C-Two is sold in Spain after the pandemic, an electric sports car that costs two million euros

The Spirits of Speed company, based in Barcelona, which owns the exclusive concession for the sale in Spain, France, Italy and the entire Mediterranean area of the Rimac fleet of cars, announced yesterday in a statement that they have received the first order purchase from a Spanish client in the new ‘post-Covid’ era, specifically a copy of its new C-Two model.

The data, although it may seem anecdotal, is still significant if we take into account that the price of this electric ‘supercar’ is two million euros (the delivery period for the vehicle is normally delayed, from the time the order is made official, in around 18 months), which indicates that the sale of super-luxury cars in Spain is beginning to take its first (still timid) steps after the pandemic.

The Rimac company was founded by Croatian businessman Mate Rimac in 2009 with the aim of creating “the sports car of the 21st century”. Since he was a child, Rimac had the dream of building the fastest car in the world, but -when trying to adapt his desires to today’s world- he decided that it should also be electric.

This is how the spectacular curves of this ‘supercar’ look.

Also known as ‘hypercars’ (and in a way, rivaling Elon Musk’s most famous Tesla), these cars have technology that requires a state-of-the-art battery (Rimac itself is in charge of producing and developing its own charging systems). automotive).

Until now, it has presented two spectacular models to the market: the Concept One (known as C-One) and the C-Two, which was released to the media just a few months ago.

Therefore, in addition to manufacturing and marketing high-performance vehicles, Rimac also markets its own battery packs, drive systems and complete vehicle components for other companies.

An example of this are cars like Aston Martin Valkyrie, Koenigsegg Regera, Pininfarina Battista or the Porche Taykan.
