The contribution bases of the workers are extremely important because they will decisively determine the amounts of the benefits or pensions that they can collect in the future. That is why it is highly recommended to keep in mind what have been the bases for which you have been quoted throughout your working life.
Social Security has notified citizens who are interested in knowing their contribution bases to explain that they have a contribution base report at their disposal with which they can clear up any doubts.
To get it they will have to go to Import@ss, . In the ‘Work life and reports’ section, the body offers the ‘Contribution base report’ service, with which the worker can access that document.
The agency explains that with the contribution base report, the worker will be able to consult their “Social Security contribution bases for the periods in which they have been registered with Social Security” with all the updated information at the time of the consultation. The document can be consulted online and can also be downloaded in PDF format.
The data can be consulted jointly (that is, from the first registration in Social Security to the last or the current one) or, on the contrary, it can be broken down by companies, schemes or specific periods of time. In case of errors, you have the option to request the correction of the data at the bottom of the screen.
While employed workers will see the contribution bases that their company has declared reflected, self-employed workers (self-employed) will have the bases for which they have contributed when they have had to pay for their contributions. The Social Security informs that periods of work abroad or those corresponding to compulsory military service or substitute social benefit will not appear in the document.
The only requirement to obtain the contribution basis report is to have a digital certificate (), an electronic DNI or Cl@ve (), or to be able to enter via SMS (for this your telephone number must be ).
Obtain the contribution base report without a digital certificate
If the citizen who wants to download their contribution base report does not have any of these access methods, they have the option of requesting that report be sent to their home using the ‘Base report at my home’ service, which can be accessed enter by clicking . It does not require a digital certificate, electronic DNI or Cl@ve.
To achieve this, the worker must only provide their name and surname, their DNI or NIE (and its expiration date), the date of birth and their home address. But, important: this address must match the one that appears in the Social Security General Treasury database.
Otherwise, the citizen will have to carry out a preliminary procedure: communicate a new address to Social Security. This can be done by submitting the TA.1 form, which must first be completed by accessing it and choosing the ‘Data variation’ option within the form itself.
When the form is filled out with the new contact address, the citizen must download it on the computer and use the Import@ss service ‘Send a request’), in which they can submit it without having a digital certificate or Cl@ve . You will only have to indicate your personal data, an email address and attach a ‘selfie’ with the front face of the DNI in order to prove the identity of the interested party.
